Job Description
Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Contract Seeking an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support hospital pharmacy operations at two North/Central Ohio locations. This contract position offers a unique opportunity to provide direct patient care and pharmacy oversight in hospitals with 25 and 40 beds respectively. The role requires collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and supervision of pharmacy staff, all within an EPIC electronic medical records environment. Location North/Central Ohio, between Cleveland and Columbus Positions available at two facilities Schedule/Hours Flexible shifts starting between 6:00 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Scheduled to work every 4th weekend Key Responsibilities Oversee daily inpatient pharmacy operations including medication distribution and clinical services Supervise pharmacy technicians and maintain clean room standards Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care Utilize EPIC system for medication management and documentation Desired Experience and Qualifications Active Ohio Pharmacist license is required Experience in inpatient hospital pharmacy practice Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to lead and supervise pharmacy support staff Commitment to values such as kindness, responsibility, confidence, and teamwork
