Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - IV Certified Job Type Contract An infusion pharmacy in Tulsa, OK is seeking a knowledgeable Pharmacist with IV certification for a contract-to-hire position. This role offers the opportunity to apply your expertise in home infusion pharmacy within a supportive, patient-focused environment.

Monday - Friday, 9:00 AM to 4:00

ASAP Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications and monitor patient compliance and usage patterns Ensure all medication supply and dispensing comply with state laws and regulations Maintain confidential, accurate patient records and pharmacy files Provide patient counseling on medication administration, potential reactions, and answer related questions Educate patients on the use of medical devices such as blood pressure monitors and glucose meters Compound sterile medications and prepare infused solutions according to strict protocols Supervise pharmacy staff including technicians and clerks to ensure efficient workflow Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to identify and resolve drug-related issues Support patient services such as smoking cessation programs, blood pressure monitoring, and cholesterol management
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Valid Oklahoma pharmacist license in hand IV certification and experience compounding infused drugs Proven track record evaluating and monitoring drug therapies for home care patients Strong organizational and time-management abilities Excellent verbal and written communication skills Active participation or membership in professional pharmacy societies or organizations is desirable This position provides a dynamic environment to utilize your infusion pharmacy skills and make a meaningful impact on patient care.
