Clinical Pharmacist -
Home & Specialty Infusion Services Location:
Tulsa, OK area
Schedule:
Full-Time, 40 Hours/Week Position Overview A leading specialty pharmacy organization is seeking an experienced Clinical Pharmacist to support patients receiving infusion therapies in the home and ambulatory setting. This role combines clinical pharmacy practice, medication management, sterile compounding oversight, and interdisciplinary collaboration to ensure safe and effective patient care. The pharmacist will work closely with physicians, nurses, and pharmacy staff to review patient therapies, monitor clinical outcomes, and provide expert guidance on complex medication regimens. Schedule Rotating Weekday Schedule (Monday-Friday): 9:00 am - 4:00 pm On-Call Requirement None Key Responsibilities Review, verify, and process medication orders for infusion patients. Monitor drug therapies, laboratory values, and patient outcomes to ensure safe and effective treatment. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and healthcare professionals regarding medication management and therapeutic recommendations. Conduct clinical assessments and identify potential drug-related concerns. Provide medication consultation and education to providers, patients, and caregivers. Oversee pharmacy technician activities and workflow as permitted by state regulations. Verify medications, supplies, and equipment before dispensing. Support quality assurance initiatives and maintain compliance with regulatory standards. Document clinical interventions and patient care activities. Participate in sterile compounding operations and supervision of clean room practices. Clinical Areas May Include IV Antibiotics Total Parenteral Nutrition (TPN) Hydration Therapy Pain Management Infusions Specialty Injectable Therapies Other Complex Infusion Treatments Ideal Background Active Pharmacist licensure Experience in infusion, specialty, hospital, acute care, or compounding pharmacy settings preferred Knowledge of sterile compounding practices and aseptic technique Strong clinical judgment and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team Why Consider This Opportunity?
