• Pharmacist Job Type Contract This pharmacist role offers the opportunity to support skilled nursing facilities, personal care facilities, and hospice through careful medication management and clinical support.

The assignment will last one month with a possibility of extension, and an 8-week contract will also be considered.

Schedule/Hours:

40 hours per week Pharmacy hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM

• 6:00 PM Saturday, 8:00 AM
• 4:00 PM Sunday, 8:00 AM
• 3:00

Cranberry Township, PA Key Responsibilities:

Review medication orders entered by data entry technicians for accuracy and completeness Check blister-packed medications as well as sterile and non-sterile preparations Respond to phone inquiries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians, providing clinical guidance as needed Count controlled substances and document results accurately in the perpetual inventory system Verify emergency medication boxes to ensure readiness and compliance

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy Active pharmacist license in good standing from the state of Pennsylvania Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience; long-term care (LTC) experience preferred Proficient with pharmacy operating systems such as QS1, Docutrack, and PCC Physical ability to sit and stand for extended periods, demonstrate fine motor skills, maintain visual acuity, and lift up to 30 pounds This role suits a pharmacist who thrives in a detail-oriented environment, values clinical interaction, and has the ability to ensure medication safety and efficacy across multiple healthcare settings.
