- Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist ready to apply their skills in a dynamic pharmacy setting.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify medication orders entered by data entry technicians for multiple care facilities. Inspect blister-packed medications, as well as sterile and non-sterile pharmaceuticals. Respond to clinical inquiries from nursing facilities, hospice nurses, and physicians. Perform controlled substance counts and maintain accurate perpetual inventory records. Check and manage emergency medication boxes to ensure readiness.Qualifications and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy. Active pharmacist license in the state of Pennsylvania, in good standing. Minimum of 1 year pharmacist experience, with preference for those experienced in long-term care (LTC). Strong visual acuity along with fine motor skills; ability to sit, stand and lift up to 30 pounds.Location:
Gibsonia, PA.Schedule:
40 hours/week.Pharmacy hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM, Saturday 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM, Sunday 8:00 AM
- 3:00 PM.
