Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem An opportunity is available for a Pharmacy Pharmacist to provide essential per diem coverage in Hazleton, PA, starting immediately. This role requires flexibility, with the goal of maintaining consistent support for the next 4-6 weeks, and possibly beyond. Ideal candidates are currently working part time elsewhere and are looking for additional hours to complement their schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Handle prescription intake and processing accurately Dispense medications following proper protocols Check and verify prescriptions and medication orders for safety and compliance Manage inventory control to ensure availability of medications Respond professionally to patient inquiries and provide exceptional customer service Collaborate with and utilize support from experienced pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth workflow

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

Minimum of 2 years recent experience working in a high-volume pharmacy setting Strong working knowledge of Pioneer Rx software Ability to work independently while maintaining attention to detail Effective communication skills and a customer-focused approach Flexibility to work multiple days per week, as many as possible starting immediately
