- Pharmacist Job Type Contract This opportunity is for an experienced Pharmacist to support long-term care facilities through a contract position based in Kittanning, PA.
Key Responsibilities:
Verify orders entered by data entry technicians for multiple care settings. Inspect and confirm accuracy of blister-packed medications as well as sterile and non-sterile products. Respond to phone inquiries from nursing facility staff, hospice nurses, and physicians, providing clinical guidance as needed. Perform controlled substance counts and maintain accurate perpetual inventory records. Review and check emergency medication boxes on a regular basis.Schedule:
40 hours per week Pharmacy operating hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM- 6:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM
- 4:00 PM; Sunday, 8:00 AM
- 3:00
