Job Description
Overview PharmPro is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team in Sharon Hill, PA. This role involves overseeing pharmacy operations, ensuring medication safety, and providing exceptional patient care across diverse clinical settings. Experience with Pioneer RX, Preferred Start ASAP Mon-Fri 8:30am-5:00pm PA Licensed Pharmacist Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations. Provide expert patient counseling on medication usage, potential side effects, and health management strategies. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapies. Manage pharmacy inventory, including compounding medications and ensuring proper storage in compliance with USP 797 standards. Collaborate with healthcare professionals on medical management plans and participate in multidisciplinary team discussions. Administer immunizations and perform basic life support (BLS) procedures as required. Ensure pharmacy operations comply with healthcare regulations such as HIPAA, pharmaceutical regulatory policies, and clinical confidentiality policies. Utilize pharmacy software systems and Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms for documentation and medication tracking. Supervise pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacy workflow to optimize efficiency. Maintain knowledge of physiology, anatomy, drug regulation, and medical terminology to support accurate medication administration. Participate in continuous education on clinical pharmacy practices, including pain management, IV infusion techniques, aseptic procedures, and hospital-based pharmacy services.
