Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity offers a unique chance to work as a Clinical Pharmacist serving both the Emergency Department (ED) and Critical Care Unit (CCU), with the added responsibility of contributing to the antibiotic stewardship team. Unlike larger hospitals where pharmacists might be limited to one area, this role provides broad clinical exposure across multiple units, enhancing your skills and professional growth. Responsibilities:
Enter and verify medication orders, ensuring accuracy and appropriateness for patient care. Review medication profiles and provide clinical services tailored to the needs of ED and ICU patient populations. Participate in multidisciplinary teams and rounds according to assigned practice areas. Conduct drug therapy monitoring and pharmacist-managed consults under established protocols. Engage actively in acute patient care scenarios, including cardiac arrest, stroke, sepsis, and trauma cases.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Licensed Pharmacist with clinical experience, preferably in emergency and critical care settings. Strong knowledge of medication management and drug information resources. Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams. Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills in high-pressure, fast-paced environments.
