Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract To Hire This opportunity is for a pharmacist to support a specialty compounding pharmacy with a 13-week contract-to-hire engagement. The role centers on ensuring excellent pharmaceutical care while overseeing shift operations and fulfillment personnel.

Responsibilities:

Manage fulfillment personnel and daily operations during assigned shifts. Participate in the shipping and handling of prescription orders as needed. Ensure prescription orders comply with prescriber and patient specifications. Maintain accurate preparation, documentation, and adherence to legal regulations for all dispensed pharmaceutical products. Assess patient demographics and medication histories to optimize care. Develop comprehensive patient care plans focused on therapeutic outcomes. Educate and counsel patients on drug therapy, including dosage, regimen, drug interactions, and therapeutic duplication. Monitor drug therapy for appropriateness and safety. Provide guidance on both prescription and over-the-counter medications, including nutritional supplements.

Required Qualifications:

Valid PA Pharmacist license. Minimum of 2 years of retail pharmacy experience.

Schedule:

Monday through Friday. 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:00 AM and 5:30 PM.
