Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type Contract An opportunity is available for an Interim Staff Pharmacist to serve as Pharmacist in Charge (PIC) at a micro-hospital in West Grove, PA. This role is critical for the operational management of pharmacy services in a small inpatient setting, overseeing a 10-bed emergency department and a 10-bed inpatient unit.

Responsibilities include:

Managing pharmacy operations as the sole pharmacist and PIC Performing audits and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards Restocking medications and managing inventory Collaborating remotely with the local PIC and Pharmacy Director for training and support Participating in on-call duties, with minimal likelihood of being called in Candidates must have: Active Pennsylvania pharmacist licensure Inpatient pharmacy experience, preferably with PIC responsibilities Familiarity with Cerner electronic order entry system Experience with Omnicell automation or similar systems Ability to work independently without onsite technician support

Schedule:

Monday through Friday, day shifts On-call responsibilities are required but expected to be minimal This contract position is set to begin as soon as September 21st, with coverage needed through June 30th and the possibility of extension. The role does not involve sterile compounding duties.
