Job Description
Vital Care of Shelton, a home-infusion pharmacy in Shelton, Connecticut, is seeking an experienced Connecticut-licensed pharmacist to serve as its Designated Pharmacist for sterile-compounding compliance. This is an interim/contract engagement focused on USP <797>, Connecticut regulatory compliance, CAPA implementation, SOP review, personnel competency, environmental controls and inspection readiness. The individual will work collaboratively with the Pharmacist in Charge while maintaining direct access to pharmacy ownership for compliance reporting and escalation. Candidates must have substantial recent sterile-compounding experience, meet all Connecticut qualifications for appointment as Designated Pharmacist, and be available for onsite support in Shelton. Immediate availability is strongly preferred. Competitive consulting compensation will be provided.
