Category Pharmacy-Pharmacist in Charge Job Type All Job Types This opportunity is for a Pharmacist in Charge to support a high-volume pharmacy operation handling between 1,000 to 1,500 prescriptions daily. The assignment is part-time for 13 weeks with flexible scheduling that primarily covers first shifts, though days or mid-shifts can be accommodated based on candidate availability. The role requires proficiency with DRx pharmacy software and the ability to verify prescriptions accurately while fielding inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers regarding medications.

Verify prescriptions to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations Answer inbound calls from patients and physician offices addressing medication-related inquiries Maintain thorough documentation and communication within pharmacy operations Adhere to pharmacy laws, policies, and safety protocols as Pharmacist in
Charge Qualifications and Licensure:
Active pharmacist license in Texas and Alabama (required) Licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Oklahoma are also accepted Additional pharmacist licenses in Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, and Nebraska are advantageous Experience with DRx pharmacy system preferred Previous experience working in a high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy setting desirable
Location:
Position based in Arlington, TX, with potential flexibility regarding shifts
Schedule:
