This role offers an exciting opportunity to leverage your extensive pharmacy expertise across multiple jurisdictions, ensuring optimal medication management, patient safety, and regulatory compliance. As a vital member of our pharmacy operations, you will provide exceptional patient care, oversee medication dispensing, and support clinical initiatives that improve health outcomes. Your proactive approach and dedication will help us deliver top-tier pharmaceutical services in diverse settings, from community pharmacies to hospital environments. Responsibilities Dispense medications accurately while adhering to all federal and state pharmacy laws, including USP 797 standards for sterile compounding. Manage pharmacy operations efficiently across multiple states, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical regulatory policies and healthcare regulations. Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to optimize medication therapy and provide medication counseling tailored to individual needs. Oversee inventory management, including drug procurement, stock rotation, and controlled substance accountability. Lead pharmacy teams by managing staff schedules, providing training on pharmacy software systems Ensure clinical confidentiality policies are maintained during patient interactions and documentation processes. Collaborate with healthcare providers to support medication administration protocols and ensure seamless patient care delivery. Maintain thorough documentation of all pharmacy activities, including drug regulation compliance and medical terminology accuracy. Stay current with evolving pharmacy laws at federal and state levels to uphold practice standards across jurisdictions. Skills Valid multi-state pharmacist license with active practice credentials in multiple jurisdictions. Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, pharmacology, and medical terminology essential for accurate patient assessment and medication management. Skilled in compounding medications using aseptic techniques following USP 797 guidelines. Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex medical information clearly to patients and healthcare providers. Familiarity with drug regulation policies, HIPAA requirements, and healthcare compliance standards including pharmaceutical regulatory compliance.
