Key Responsibilities:

Verify prescription orders accurately and efficiently. Manage inbound calls from patients and physician offices concerning medication-related inquiries. Ensure compliance with pharmacy laws and regulations as the pharmacist in charge. Maintain documentation and oversee operational aspects of the pharmacy during assigned shifts.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

Active pharmacist licenses in Texas and Alabama are required. Additional pharmacy licenses in Nevada, Oregon, Tennessee, Oklahoma, Michigan, Massachusetts, Maryland, Louisiana, Mississippi, West Virginia, Kansas, Kentucky, or Nebraska are advantageous. Experience working in a high-volume retail or mail-order pharmacy environment. Proficient with DRx pharmacy software or similar systems. Strong communication skills for patient and provider interactions. Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and regulatory compliance.

Location:

Irving, Texas, with a script volume of 1,000 - 1,500 prescriptions per day.

Schedule/Hours:

Part-time, approximately 20 hours per week. First shift preferred; flexible to work days or mid-shifts.
