Category Pharmacy - Clinical Pharmacist Job Type Contract A large, bustling 500+ bed hospital in the Texas Medical Center is seeking an Oncology Inpatient Pharmacist to support their clinical pharmacy team. This role focuses on providing expert oncology medication management within an inpatient setting, working alongside a dynamic patient care team to optimize therapeutic outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Participate in daily patient care rounds with physicians and other healthcare providers, offering clinical recommendations on medication management. Develop and update treatment protocols within Epic and Epic Beacon to ensure standardized, evidence-based care. Facilitate seamless transition of care by collaborating with outpatient oncology pharmacists. Manage non-formulary requests and coordinate specialty medication procurement and administration for oncology patients.

Qualifications:
Current Texas pharmacist license required. Texas IV certification. Minimum of 3 years inpatient pharmacy experience. Oncology pharmacy experience highly preferred. Experience with Epic electronic medical records system is a strong asset. This position offers an immediate start with a contract duration of 13 weeks or more and may lead to permanent employment.
