Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract Pharmacist opportunity available at a 300+ bed hospital and Level III trauma center near Kilgore, TX, in the Longview area. This contract position offers a dynamic environment where clinical expertise and patient-centered care are essential. The facility utilizes EPIC and Pyxis systems, providing a modern and efficient workspace.

Schedule/Hours:

4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (day shifts) Potential for a blocked schedule option (e.g., 8 days on, 6 days off) Responsibilities include: Verifying medication orders accurately and efficiently Supervising pharmacy technicians to ensure smooth operations Collaborating with physicians and nurses to optimize patient care Applying pharmacokinetic principles for dosing adjustments Providing specialized knowledge in emergency medicine and neonatal medication when needed

Qualifications:

Current Pharmacy license in Texas Minimum of 1 year of recent inpatient or clinical pharmacy experience Strong proficiency with EPIC system preferred Experience in pharmacokinetic dosing and emergency medicine highly valued Knowledge of neonatal medications is a plus This is a contract role starting ASAP with a duration of 13 weeks or longer and may convert to a temp-to-hire position.
