Part-time, with anticipated transition to full-time About Us MiskRx Pharmacy is a new combination long-term care (LTC) and retail pharmacy opening in Plano, Texas. We're building a patient-first pharmacy that serves both facility residents and walk-in retail customers, and we're looking for a pharmacist who wants to help shape operations from the ground up. What You'll Do Review, verify, and dispense prescriptions for both LTC and retail patients Provide clinical services, patient counseling, and medication therapy management Oversee and support pharmacy technicians and daily workflow Coordinate with LTC facility staff, prescribers, and nursing teams Maintain compliance with Texas State Board of Pharmacy regulations, DEA requirements, and HIPAA Assist with inventory management, cycle fills, and order accuracy Help build and refine operating procedures as the pharmacy grows Requirements Active pharmacist license in good standing with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy Working knowledge of Liberty Software is required Strong attention to detail and comfort in a fast-changing start-up environment Excellent communication skills with patients, staff, and facility partners Immunization certification (preferred) Preferred Prior experience as a staff pharmacist, ideally in LTC, retail, or a combo setting Familiarity with cycle fill, blister/unit-dose packaging, and facility workflows Why Join Us Ground-floor opportunity with a growing independent pharmacy Direct input into workflow, systems, and clinical program development Predictable weekday schedule — no nights, weekends, or holidays Competitive compensation based on experience
