Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem This per diem pharmacist role offers a chance to support patient care in a dynamic retail pharmacy setting during select dates from August 27-28 and September 3-4. Working morning shifts from 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM, the pharmacist will operate under the direct guidance of the pharmacy manager to dispense medications safely and accurately using Pioneer software.
Key responsibilities include:
Dispensing medications with attention to patient safety and accuracy Counseling patients on medication regimens and providing expert advice Addressing patient inquiries, concerns, and complaints according to protocol Maintaining inventory and controlling records for pharmaceuticals and controlled substances Resolving patient issues and clarifying insurance coverage matters Desired qualifications: Active, clear pharmacist license in Texas required Minimum of 1 year experience in retail pharmacy preferred This opportunity is ideal for licensed pharmacists with a commitment to excellent patient service and medication management.
