Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A pharmacy professional is needed for a contract role located in Layton, UT, with a travel assignment in Ogden, UT. This position requires a currently held Utah pharmacist license due to the state's specific licensing requirements. The assignment offers a 13-week initial duration with the possibility to extend based on performance and operational needs.
Schedule:
2nd shift: 2:30 PM to 11:00 PM Every other weekend rotation
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense prescription medications. Provide patient counseling and education on medication use. Collaborate with healthcare team members to optimize patient care. Maintain compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws and regulations.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid pharmacist license in Utah. Proven experience as a pharmacist in retail or hospital settings. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and medication management. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
