Job Description
Staywell Pharmacy is an independent, 4.9-star rated community pharmacy in Gainesville, VA, known for personal service and free local delivery. We're looking for a PRN pharmacist to pick up shifts on a flexible schedule — you tell us your availability.
Why this role:
- Truly flexible PRN scheduling — fits around a full-time job or other commitments
- Weekday shifts only, 9am-5pm — no nights, no weekends
- Independent pharmacy: know your patients by name, no corporate metrics

Responsibilities:
- Verify and dispense prescriptions accurately and safely
- Counsel patients on medications, side effects, and interactions
- Communicate with prescribers on clarifications and alternatives
- Supervise pharmacy technicians and support smooth daily workflow
- Maintain compliance with Virginia Board of Pharmacy regulations
Requirements:
- Active Virginia pharmacist license in good standing (required)
- Community/retail pharmacy experience preferred
- Friendly, patient-focused approach
