Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Contract A dynamic opportunity is available for a Pharmacist to support pharmaceutical care at a 50-bed hospital located in Northern Wisconsin. Location:

Bayfield, WI (Northern Wisconsin)

Schedule:

12-hour day shifts 7 days on, 7 days off rotation

Duration:

13 weeks plus ASAP start

Key Responsibilities:

Review medication orders for appropriateness including therapy, dosing, regimen, and possible drug interactions Provide pharmacokinetic and anticoagulation dosing support Deliver clinical pharmaceutical care by participating in medication reconciliation and educating patients on discharge medications Oversee pharmaceutical compounding operations in compliance with USP 797 and USP 800 standards Utilize EPIC electronic health records system for documentation and clinical review

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

Licensed Pharmacist with current credentials Strong knowledge of medication therapy management and hospital pharmacy operations Experience in pharmacokinetic dosing and anticoagulation management Familiarity with pharmaceutical compounding regulations and USP guidelines Comfortable working within EPIC or similar electronic medical record systems Ability to manage workload effectively during extended shifts and rotations This contract role offers the chance to contribute meaningfully to patient care while gaining experience in a close-knit hospital environment with a balanced schedule.
