Job Description
Park Pharmacy in Park Falls and White Cross Pharmacy in Hurley, are looking for a full-time Pharmacist. A full benefit package, competitive wage, flexible schedule, along with a great working environment, is provided. Qualified Pharmacy Technicians are also by your side to free up time for Pharmacist patient counseling. Both Pharmacies are Independent Pharmacies with an important part in the Northern Wisconsin community and leaders in patient care. Applicants must have a Pharmacy Degree and be licensed to practice in the State of Wisconsin. Applicants must also have strong communication skills and genuine care for patient health. Responsibilities Review and execute physician's prescriptions checking their appropriateness and legality Maintain full control over delivering, stocking and labeling medicine and other products and monitor their condition to prevent expiring or deterioration Listen carefully to customers to interpret their needs and issues and offer information and advice Assist with Pharmacy vaccination programs. Prepare medicine when appropriate using correct dosages and material for each individual patient Keep records of patient history and of all activities regarding heavy medication Stay up to date with advancements in medicine by attending conferences and seminars and collaborating with other healthcare professionals. Comply with all applicable legal rules, regulations, and procedures Ability to initiate and complete MTM's sent to Pharmacy Skills Proven experience as a pharmacist Thorough understanding of dosage administration and measurement. Good organizing skills Excellent communication skills with a customer-oriented approach Valid license to practice the profession
