Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist Job Type Travel An opportunity is available for an experienced pharmacist to provide critical support at a 49-bed hospital in Kelly, WY. This travel assignment spans 8 weeks with the possibility of extension, filling in for a pharmacist on extended FMLA. The hospital currently operates with two full-time pharmacists; however, due to the absence, the director has been stepping in and staffing. This role will require a reliable, knowledgeable professional to quickly integrate into the team with minimal training required.

Monday to
Friday:
6:15 AM - 7:00 PM Saturday to
Sunday:
7:15 AM - 12:00 PM, with on-call duties afterward Current staff work 10-hour shifts with one weekend per month; scheduling can be flexible for interim coverage, such as a 7/7 schedule
Key Responsibilities:
Provide inpatient pharmacy services with a focus on accuracy and safety Utilize Cerner for medication order entry and management Operate Pyxis systems for medication dispensing Collaborate with medical staff and other pharmacy team members to ensure optimal patient care Adapt to varied schedules and maintain high performance during this interim period
Qualifications:
Active Wyoming pharmacist license Minimum of 2 years inpatient pharmacy experience Proficient in Cerner and Pyxis systems Demonstrated ability to operate with minimal supervision Managerial reference confirming expertise and professionalism This role offers an excellent chance to contribute in a high-impact environment while gaining experience in a close-knit hospital setting.
