Job Description

Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Per Diem Per Diem Pharmacists are needed to build a flexible team supporting multiple pharmacies within the greater Phoenix, AZ area. This opportunity is ideal for pharmacists seeking part-time work with shifts primarily Monday through Saturday in a retail pharmacy setting integrated into a food and pharmacy environment.
Location:
Queen Creek, AZ (commutable to Phoenix area pharmacies)
Schedule:
Pharmacy hours generally 10 AM to 7 PM, some locations until 8 PM, Monday-Saturday Shifts vary and are on an as-needed basis to cover call-outs, vacations, or volume spikes Ideal commitment is 2-4 days per week
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense prescriptions and counsel patients in compliance with state and federal regulations Provide immunizations and maintain up-to-date BLS certification Collaborate with pharmacy technicians and manage pharmacist-only sites when required Participate in initial and ongoing training sessions to ensure consistent operational knowledge, including QS1 system usage
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Minimum 1-2 years of recent retail pharmacy experience preferred, with at least 2 years highly favored Immunization privileges and current BLS card required Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy management system is a plus Ability to work independently and adapt to variable pharmacy volumes
Additional Information:
