Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered. An outpatient pharmacy in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, is seeking a Certified Pharmacy Technician for a 3-month contract opportunity starting immediately. This role involves supporting prescription processing, insurance billing, inventory management, and day-to-day operations within a dynamic pharmacy setting.

Schedule:
Monday-Friday, variable shifts between 7:45 AM and 6:30
PM Key Responsibilities:
Accurately enter prescriptions along with patient and payer information into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system Process and bill prescription insurance claims efficiently Fill and dispense prescriptions, ensuring precision and safety Manage medication stocking and maintain accurate inventory levels Answer incoming telephone calls professionally and effectively Maintain a clean, organized, and compliant work environment Lift items weighing up to 25 pounds as part of daily tasks Perform other duties as assigned by pharmacy leadership
Qualifications:
Active Colorado Pharmacy Technician license Current Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) certification Minimum of one year of experience in outpatient or retail pharmacy settings Experience with Epic Willow preferred Exceptional attention to detail and strong customer service skills Flexibility to work variable weekday shifts within the specified schedule This contract role offers the chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a fast-paced outpatient environment.
