Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Registered Pharmacist to join a pharmacy team in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely and accurately dispensing medications while providing excellent patient care and collaborating with pharmacy and healthcare staff.
Responsibilities:
Review and dispense prescription medications accurately and safely. Verify medication orders, dosages, and potential drug interactions. Provide medication counseling and education to patients. Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals as needed. Maintain accurate patient and medication records. Ensure compliance with pharmacy policies, state regulations, and applicable standards. Monitor inventory and assist with medication management. Support daily pharmacy operations and maintain a high standard of patient care.
Requirements:
Active Florida Pharmacist License in good standing. Previous pharmacy experience required. Strong knowledge of medication safety, dispensing procedures, and pharmacy regulations. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work the scheduled shifts consistently.
Pay:
