Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire Oversee and enhance the delivery of safe, effective home-based intravenous therapies as a Pharmacy Manager in a dynamic home infusion setting. This leadership role involves managing daily pharmacy operations, guiding sterile compounding activities, and ensuring compliance with stringent regulatory requirements—all while fostering a culture centered on comprehensive training and long-term team success.
Responsibilities:
Lead and direct pharmacy operations including sterile compounding, IV admixture preparation, dispensing, and inventory oversight. Manage pharmacy staff recruitment, orientation, ongoing training, performance assessments, and scheduling, emphasizing development for sustained success. Ensure compliance with regulatory standards, including State Boards of Pharmacy laws and USP compounding guidelines. Provide clinical oversight in infusion therapies; collaborate closely with healthcare providers to optimize patient care and outcomes. Contribute to branch business strategies, including budgeting, workflow improvements, and performance enhancement initiatives. Participate in administrative on-call duties as needed; oversee pharmacists' rotating on-call schedules.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from an accredited institution. Active, unrestricted Pharmacist license in the state of Georgia. 5-7 years of direct clinical and operational experience in home infusion or acute care pharmacy settings. Demonstrated knowledge of IV admixture services and regulatory accreditation practices. Proven leadership skills with a focus on staff training and mentorship. Experience with CPR+ or CareTend pharmacy management systems is highly preferred.
