Category Pharmacy•Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire This direct hire opportunity seeks a Pharmacy Manager with specialized expertise in infusion pharmacy to oversee daily operations and staff management. The role requires strong leadership, particularly in training and orienting pharmacy personnel, and a thorough understanding of infusion pharmacy practices.
Location:
Norcross, GA Schedule:
Monday•Friday, 8:30 AM•5:00 PM, with schedule flexibility and administrative on-call responsibilities
Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate daily pharmacy workflow, including delegation among pharmacists and technicians Manage relationships and address issues with referral sources and internal customers Implement and monitor quarterly and annual departmental goals to ensure continuous improvement Provide pharmaceutical care through patient counseling, prescription review, and dispensing Enforce compliance with all applicable state and federal pharmacy laws, ensuring all team members adhere to regulations Collaborate with or oversee the logistics team to ensure proper storage and handling of medications and supplies Lead human resources initiatives including annual employee evaluations and providing structured feedback Develop team goals to align with organizational objectives
Qualifications:
Proven experience managing pharmacy staff with significant focus on staff training and orientation Prior infusion pharmacy and infusion management experience required In-depth knowledge of pharmacy laws and regulations Experience with CPR+ or CareTend pharmacy systems preferred Valid Georgia pharmacist license
