Category Pharmacy - Staff Pharmacist - Retail Job Type Contract A retail pharmacist position is available at a community pharmacy located in Knox, IN. This contract role requires a licensed Indiana pharmacist to provide comprehensive pharmaceutical services with a focus on accuracy, safety, and patient care within a retail environment.

Location:

Knox, IN (Local candidates only)

Schedule:

Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (40 hours/week) Every other Saturday, 9:00 AM to 6:00

PM Key Responsibilities:

Accurately fill and verify prescription orders prepared by pharmacy technicians Maintain strict security protocols for the pharmacy and controlled substances Enter patient information and prescription orders with precision into the order entry system Ensure compliance with all regulatory and safety standards Complete a three-day training and orientation prior to starting

Qualifications/Desired Experience:

Indiana pharmacist license required Previous retail pharmacy experience strongly preferred Familiarity with PioneerRx order entry system is an advantage Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under pressure Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and pharmacy security
