•Duties Manage all aspects of pharmacy operations, including inventory control, medication dispensing, and regulatory compliance Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and technicians, promoting teamwork and professional development Ensure adherence to state and federal pharmacy laws, HIPAA regulations, USP 797 standards for sterile compounding, and other healthcare compliance policies Oversee patient medication therapy management, including patient assessment, medication reconciliation, and counseling Coordinate with healthcare providers to optimize patient outcomes through clinical interventions such as immunizations, pain management, and acute care services Maintain accurate documentation within Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Record (EHR), and Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems Conduct regular audits of pharmacy operations to uphold safety standards like aseptic technique and drug regulation policies Requirements Valid pharmacist license with practicing authority in the relevant jurisdiction Prior experience in Retail pharmacy environments Proven leadership skills managing pharmacy teams effectively in fast-paced settings Strong understanding of pharmaceutical regulatory compliance, drug regulation laws, and healthcare policies including HIPAA and USP 797 standard Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or higher is required; additional certifications such as immunizations or advanced medical management are preferred Knowledge of physiology and anatomy to support accurate patient assessments and medication therapy plans Join us as our Pharmacy Manager/Pharmacist in Charge to lead innovative pharmacy practices that enhance patient care while fostering a collaborative team environment.
