Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available supporting an
HIV/AIDS
specialty pharmacy team. This contract role requires a motivated individual to provide exceptional patient care and communication, working in a fast-paced, specialized setting.
Location:
Boulder City, NV Type:
Contract (4-6 weeks with potential extension)
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8-hour shifts
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately dispense medications with a focus on
HIV/AIDS
therapies Provide thorough patient and provider communication with empathy and professionalism Support pharmacy operations and documentation with attention to detail Utilize QS1 pharmacy software to process prescriptions and maintain records Ensure punctual and consistent attendance to support the pharmacy team
Qualifications:
Active Nevada Pharmacy Technician license Minimum 1 year of retail pharmacy technician experience Experience dispensing
HIV/AIDS
medications is required and must be clearly noted on resume Familiarity with QS1 software preferred Demonstrated commitment to patient care and strong communication skills Positive, reliable, and professional demeanor This position is ideal for a pharmacy technician comfortable working independently and dedicated to supporting patients with specialized medication needs. Applicants must be prepared to work without on-site pharmacist support, reinforcing the need for responsibility and attention to detail.
