Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A retail pharmacy technician opportunity is available to support a specialty pharmacy focusing on
HIV/AIDS
medications. This contract role is set in Henderson, NV, starting immediately and expected to last 4-6 weeks with the possibility of extension. Working Monday through Thursday, you will contribute your expertise to a high-quality patient care environment supporting those affected by
HIV/AIDS.
Key Responsibilities:
Dispense medications accurately with a focus on
HIV/AIDS
treatments Maintain strong communication channels with patients and healthcare providers Provide exceptional patient support and education Adhere to pharmacy protocols and ensure timely attendance Utilize QS1 software for pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Valid Nevada Pharmacy Technician license required Minimum of one year retail pharmacy experience Experience dispensing
HIV/AIDS
medications must be explicitly noted on your resume Familiarity with QS1 pharmacy software highly preferred Excellent communication skills and a positive, dependable attitude
Schedule:
Monday through Thursday, 8-hour shifts This assignment demands a pharmacy technician committed to exceptional service, punctuality, and professionalism. Candidates should be prepared to work without a pharmacist technician backup and demonstrate their ability to manage responsibilities independently.
