The role requires a dedicated professional to lead pharmacy operations, drive business growth, and ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy regulations.

Variable Day/Afternoon shifts Approximately 62 hours bi-weekly
Responsibilities:
Maintain a collaborative relationship with the store operations team to drive associate engagement and communicate department and company strategies to pharmacy staff. Ensure the accuracy and appropriateness of all prescriptions through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in compliance with regulatory standards. Manage the pharmacy department to build a profitable business by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Work closely with the district manager and pharmacy staff to control inventory, track weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet customer demand and maximize profits. Align department performance objectives with key metrics to measure effectiveness and efficiency. Provide excellent customer service and healthcare counseling, resolve customer issues, and build trust and loyalty. Supervise and manage pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain security within the pharmacy department and ensure a clean, organized working environment. Communicate with physicians to resolve prescription-related issues and utilize reference materials as needed. Oversee inventory management tasks such as cycle counts and will-call orders, ensuring timely completion.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required Current New York State Pharmacist License mandatory This direct hire position is ideal for a pharmacy leader committed to operational excellence and superior patient care.
