Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available in a retail setting in Binghamton, NY, offering a direct hire opportunity with a variable schedule covering day and afternoon shifts. This position requires dedication to pharmacy operations while leading a team to deliver exceptional healthcare services and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:
Foster a collaborative relationship with the store operations team, strengthening associate engagement and clearly communicating departmental and company strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance by performing Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in accordance with state and federal regulations. Drive business profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Collaborate with the district pharmacy team to monitor inventories, track sales, and optimize pharmaceutical stock levels. Align team performance with seven key metrics focused on efficiency and effectiveness within the pharmacy department. Provide exemplary customer service through healthcare counseling and resolution of medical-related inquiries. Supervise pharmacists, pharmacy associates, and support staff, managing training, coaching, discipline, and overall team development. Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized environment. Address customer issues to build trust and loyalty while liaising with physicians to resolve prescription-related concerns.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. Valid New York State Pharmacist License. Strong leadership and communication skills with a focus on team building and customer service. Experience managing pharmacy operations, inventory control, and compliance.

62 hours bi-weekly Variable day and afternoon shifts This direct hire position offers the opportunity to lead a vital healthcare function within a community-focused retail pharmacy environment.
