Job Description

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead our pharmacy operations with energy, precision, and a commitment to exceptional patient care. In this vital role, you will oversee daily pharmacy functions, ensure compliance with all regulatory standards, and foster a patient-centered environment. Your leadership will drive team performance, optimize medication management processes, and uphold the highest standards of safety and service. Duties Manage and supervise pharmacy staff, including pharmacists and pharmacy technicians, ensuring efficient workflow and excellent patient service Oversee medication dispensing, compounding medications using aseptic techniques, and managing inventory to maintain optimal stock levels Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, USP 797 standards for sterile compounding, and healthcare regulations such as HIPAA and OSHA Conduct patient assessments to support clinical decision-making, including medication therapy reviews and immunization administration Maintain accurate documentation in Pharmacy Information Systems (PIS), Electronic Health Records (EHR), and other pharmacy software platforms Lead initiatives in clinical pharmacy services such as pain management, immunizations, pediatric care, and LTC (Long-Term Care) pharmacy operations Monitor pharmacy operations for regulatory adherence, including drug regulation policies and pharmaceutical regulatory compliance standards Requirements Valid pharmacist license in good standing with relevant state board requirements Extensive experience practicing as a pharmacist in retail setting Proven ability to manage pharmacy teams effectively while fostering a collaborative work environment Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles Hands-on experience with pharmacy software systems Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) required Deep understanding of drug regulation laws, clinical confidentiality policies and HIPAA compliance Excellent client communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare setting Join us to lead innovative pharmacy services that improve patient outcomes!
