Category Pharmacy - Pharmacist Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacist position is available at a well-established grocery retail setting in Newport, PA. This direct hire role offers full-time hours with a variable schedule, including day and afternoon shifts, totaling approximately 74 hours biweekly. The opportunity to join a dynamic team focused on exceptional customer service and pharmacy operations awaits a dedicated pharmacy professional.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with store operations and pharmacy associates to drive business success and implement department and company strategies. Ensure strict compliance with state and federal Board of Pharmacy regulations through accurate prescription filling, Drug Utilization Reviews, and Quality Assurance. Lead pharmacy operations to increase profitability and prescription growth by promoting clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Manage pharmacy inventory and coordinate with district management to balance stock and optimize sales. Supervise, train, and coach pharmacy staff, overseeing performance, discipline, and development. Maintain security and cleanliness of the pharmacy department. Address and resolve customer inquiries and concerns effectively, fostering trust and loyalty. Engage with healthcare providers and utilize reference materials to clarify prescription-related issues. Oversee pharmacy department tasks including cycle counts, inventory control, and customer will-call management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor of Pharmacy or PharmD degree. Active Pennsylvania Pharmacist License. Current Pennsylvania Immunization License. Proven leadership and communication skills in a retail pharmacy environment.

Newport, Pennsylvania This is a direct hire position offering competitive salary compensation in the range of $59.50 to $71.50 per hour.
