- Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A retail pharmacy location is seeking a full-time Pharmacy Manager to lead and grow its pharmacy department.
Location:
Mifflinburg, PA Schedule:
Typically 10-hour shifts: 9am- 7pm 11-hour shifts: 9am
- 8pm 12-hour shifts: 8am
- 8pm or 9am
- 9pm Bi-weekly hours: 62 hours Variable day/afternoon shifts Start date:
ASAP Key Responsibilities:
Lead pharmacy operations by maintaining collaboration with the store operations team and driving associate engagement. Ensure accuracy and compliance with all prescriptions through drug utilization review and final quality assurance adhering to state and federal regulations. Manage departmental profitability and script growth by implementing clinical programs, including immunizations and Medication Therapy Management. Control inventory through sales tracking and pharmaceutical stock ordering. Align performance objectives with key pharmacy metrics, overseeing pharmacist and staff activities. Provide exceptional customer service, address medical-related inquiries, and resolve customer issues to build trust. Supervise training, coaching, disciplinary actions, and development of pharmacy associates. Uphold pharmacy security and maintain cleanliness and order in the department. Interface with physicians and use reference materials to resolve prescription and customer issues. Prioritize and manage pharmacy tasks such as cycle counts, inventory, and will-call fulfillment.Qualifications:
