Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Manager Job Type Direct Hire A full-time Pharmacy Manager role is available at a retail location in Mifflinburg, PA. This direct hire position offers a dynamic work schedule featuring variable day and afternoon shifts with 10 to 12-hour shifts (ranging from 9am to 9pm) totaling 62 hours bi-weekly. The ideal candidate will begin as soon as possible and have strong leadership and pharmacy management experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate effectively with store operations and pharmacy teams to drive associate engagement and communicate business strategies. Ensure prescription accuracy and compliance through thorough Drug Utilization Review and Final Quality Assurance in line with state and federal regulations. Manage pharmacy operations to build a profitable business, promote script growth by implementing clinical programs such as immunizations and Medication Therapy Management (MTM). Partner with the District Manager and staff to control inventory, monitor weekly sales, and order pharmaceutical stock to meet demand. Align pharmacy performance with key department metrics to maximize efficiency and effectiveness. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing medical inquiries and offering healthcare counseling. Supervise and manage pharmacy associates, including training, coaching, and disciplinary actions. Maintain pharmacy security and a clean, organized work environment. Resolve customer issues promptly to build trust and loyalty. Communicate with physicians and use reference materials to manage prescriptions and resolve concerns. Oversee ongoing staff development to enhance performance and reduce turnover.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
