Pharmacy Manager Full time position | Bonus opportunity | Comprehensive benefits The Opportunity Drug Emporium is seeking an experienced, people-focused Pharmacy Manager to lead our Lubbock pharmacy. This role has full responsibility for pharmacy operations, patient service, team development, compliance and business performance. Our pharmacy combines personal, independent-style service with the customer base and resources of an established retail store. We provide traditional prescription services, compounding, immunizations and a convenient drive-thru. The right leader will build strong patient relationships, develop a capable team and maintain the highest standards of accuracy and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities Oversee daily pharmacy operations and serve as Pharmacist in Charge. Recruit, train, schedule, coach and develop pharmacists and pharmacy support staff. Review, prepare and accurately dispense prescription medications. Counsel patients regarding prescriptions, medication use and health care needs. Administer immunizations and support other clinical pharmacy services. Maintain compliance with company policies and all applicable federal, state and local regulations. Protect patient confidentiality and maintain all required pharmacy records and documentation. Manage pharmacy inventory, receiving, pricing and merchandising. Build positive relationships with patients, prescribers and members of the community. Identify opportunities to improve patient service, pharmacy performance and business growth. Partner with store leadership to support Drug Emporium initiatives and overall store performance. QualificationsRequired Active Texas pharmacist license by the employment start date. Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy or PharmD degree from an accredited pharmacy program. At least five years of retail pharmacy experience, including pharmacy leadership or management experience. Ability to meet Texas requirements to serve as Pharmacist in Charge. Strong knowledge of pharmacy operations and regulatory compliance. Excellent communication, organization and problem-solving skills. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Ability to perform the essential physical functions of the role, with reasonable accommodation when applicable.
