About the Role As a Pharmacy Technician, you'll report directly to the Pharmacist in Charge and play a vital role in day-to-day pharmacy operations. From processing prescriptions to supporting patient care, you'll help us deliver healthcare that's personal, efficient, and fanatically focused on the patient experience. Key Responsibilities Accurately fill and process prescriptions using pharmacy software Deliver friendly, knowledgeable customer service in person and over the phone Resolve insurance rejections and handle prior authorizations with minimal supervision Assist with Point of Sale transactions and ensure workflow accuracy Maintain inventory, track orders, and manage expired medications Support compliance packaging and ensure prescriptions are ready quickly and correctly Promote additional products and services that support patient wellness Uphold all state and federal regulations in prescription processing and billing Promote a culture of well-care by maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming environment across all pharmacy facilities, encouraging teamwork and shared responsibility What We're Looking For High School Diploma or equivalent (Associate's/Bachelor's degree preferred) Certified or Licensed preferred, but not required Strong computer skills (MS Office, pharmacy software) Excellent memory for names and faces Customer-first mindset with enthusiasm, attention to detail, and professionalism Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Why Join Jim's Pharmacy?
