job Summary A Pharmacy Technician works and assist the pharmacist with daily operations. Their main role is to help prepare and dispense prescription medications accurately while providing customer service to patients. They act as the bridge between customers, pharmacists, and insurance companies—keeping everything running smoothly and safely Key Responsibilities Prescription Processing Receive and input prescription orders Count, label, and package medications Customer Service Assist customers at the counter and drive-thru Answer basic medication or insurance questions (non-clinical) Insurance & Billing Process insurance claims Resolve coverage issues or rejections Inventory Management Stock shelves and monitor medication supplies Handle expired or recalled medications Compliance & Safety Follow pharmacy laws and regulations Maintain patient confidentiality Hippa compliable.
