Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract This contract opportunity offers an exciting chance to apply your pharmacy technician skills in a dynamic healthcare environment. Located in Templeton, CA, the role provides a flexible schedule tailored around a 4-days-a-week, 10-hour shifts routine, with varied days and afternoon hours to fit your availability.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform sterile and non-sterile compounding with precision and adherence to safety standards. Restock and maintain Pyxis units to ensure seamless medication dispensing. Field incoming pharmacy calls, delivering excellent communication and support. Manage inventory efficiently to support daily pharmacy operations. Assist pharmacists in various tasks, contributing to optimal patient care.
Qualifications and Experience:
Valid California pharmacist license is required. Prior hospital pharmacy experience is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently. Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Schedule:
Four 10-hour shifts per week. Variable days and afternoons; the Director of Pharmacy is committed to flexible scheduling to accommodate your needs. This position is contract-based for 13 weeks, with an ASAP start date. It offers a challenging yet rewarding environment where your expertise will directly impact patient health outcomes.
