Category Pharmacy - Pharmacy Technician Job Type Contract A specialty infusion pharmacy is seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to support daily operations in Orange County. This contract opportunity offers an ASAP start with a 13-week duration and the potential to transition to a permanent role. The position requires working Monday through Friday during day shifts.

Key Responsibilities:
Enter patient demographics and insurance information accurately. Type prescription labels, process medication refills, and submit billing claims and authorization requests. Label and package injectable medications, ancillary supplies, and oral/topical medications per patient orders. Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate shipments, and confirm deliveries with patients. Reconcile shipments against packing slips and receive/unpack medications. Perform routine cleaning and disinfection of the IV room following USP standards and company policies. Deliver exceptional customer service through verbal, written, and in-person communication. Support 340B program compliance and assist with other pharmacy operational tasks as needed.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
Valid California Pharmacy Technician license. At least 1 year of experience in hospital, ambulatory care, or infusion pharmacy settings. Familiarity with IV preparation and handling. Local candidates preferred for ease of onboarding and scheduling.
