Location:
Glenwood Springs, Colorado, nestled in the heart of the Colorado Rockies along the I-70 corridor
Key Responsibilities:
Accurately prepare and dispense medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist Manage inventory and ensure proper handling and storage of pharmaceuticals Collaborate with pharmacy staff to maintain compliance with state and federal regulations Assist patients by providing medication information and addressing questions professionally Support daily operations to maintain efficient workflow in the pharmacy setting
Qualifications:
Active Pharmacy Technician License from Colorado Department of Regulatory Agencies (DORA) — this is a mandatory requirement Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, ideally with previous travel assignments Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment Excellent communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and regulatory compliance
