Key Responsibilities:
Prepare, dispense, and distribute medications in an inpatient hospital setting. Accurately verify prescription orders and maintain proper documentation. Assist pharmacists in managing medication inventory and supply. Collaborate with healthcare staff to support patient care and medication safety. Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
Pharmacy Technician certification and relevant state licensure. Previous experience working as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital inpatient environment. Strong knowledge of medication names, dosages, and pharmacy procedures. Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
