Located on the campus of Hartford Hospital, the Hartford HealthCare Community Pharmacy (HHCCP) is diverse in the patient populations served. The pharmacy offers the feel of a high service community pharmacy. We provide free delivery to patients within the Hartford area. HHCCP expands on this conventional role by filling and servicing specialty medications. Our nationally accredited specialty pharmacy services clinics at Hartford Hospital including, but are not limited to transplant, oncology, hepatitis, and infectious disease. The pharmacy has an integrated relationship with these clinics to provide exceptional care and service including shipping patient medications to their home. In addition to these service lines, our pharmacy also has a program to fill and deliver medications to a patient's bedside before they get discharged. Pharmacy Technicians assist Pharmacists the HHC Community Pharmacy. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Processing and filling prescriptions accurately
- Assisting the customers of the Community Pharmacy
- Working with our specialty pharmacy liaisons to ensure the needs of our specialty patients are met
Qualifications Education:
- High School Diploma required or equivalent.
Licenses/Certifications:
- Current Pharmacy Technician Certification is strongly preferred
- Pharmacy registration with Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection within 30 days of hire We take great care of careers.
