INDEPENDENT

specialty pharmacy located in Orange, CT searching for full-time, certified pharmacy technician (CPhT) or Licensed Pharmacy Technician with the Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy to join our pharmacy team!

Pharmacy Hours:

Monday

• Friday, 9:00 AM
• 6:00 PM (Shift will be 8 hours between those hours)

Salary:

Starting range would be $18

• $21 per hour based on experience and licensing with ability to receive pay increases based on performance.

Job Duties:

• Handling telephone transactions to ensure a positive customer experience
• Data entry and prescription processing
• Resolving insurance/3rd party claims and issues
• Assists with daily pharmacy maintenance to ensure the pharmacy is clean, neat, and orderly in condition and appearance.
• Such maintenance may include: stocking supplies, cleaning work stations, disposing of trash, and etc.
• Perform clerical tasks such as, handling all related sales on the cash register
• Inventory management activities such as, ordering, unpacking, checking, and storing shipment of inventory goods
• Completing any special assignments or tasks as assigned in a timely and efficient manner

Vacation:

One week paid starts accruing after one year of service, 2 years will be two weeks, 3 years you will be 3 weeks max.

Applicant Requirements:

• National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB) preferred
• Actve Pharmacy Technician License with the Connecticut State Board of Pharmacy required
• High School Diploma
• Demonstrate proficiency with using Windows operating system and Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills
• Certified pharmacy technicians who are fluent in both English and Spanish are needed as well.
