Job Description

Job Overview PharmPro is seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician for our client in Claymont, DE to join our healthcare team. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring accuracy, safety, and compliance with all regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in pharmaceutical procedures, excellent patient service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism. M-F 8:30am to 5:00pm Need to know SuiteRX pharmacy software Dates needed 9/10-9/18 Responsibilities Accurately prepare, dispense, and label medications in accordance with prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist with sterile IV admixture procedures, including aseptic techniques and sterile compounding Maintain precise data entry of patient information, medication orders, and inventory records using pharmacy software systems Ensure compliance with state and federal pharmacy laws, drug regulations, and pharmaceutical regulatory standards Support medication administration processes in hospital or clinical environments, including acute care settings Perform pharmaceutical calculations for dosage accuracy and verify medication quantities Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and monitor expiration dates to ensure medication safety Provide exceptional patient service by answering inquiries professionally while maintaining patient confidentiality Assist with drug regulation documentation, medical terminology clarification, and adherence to hospital or community pharmacy protocols Participate in maintaining sterile techniques and aseptic procedures for IV infusion preparation Support pharmacy team members in intake processes, medication reconciliation, and documentation accuracy
Pay:
