Pharmacy technicians at Bell Pharmacy enjoy dynamic opportunities designed to support flexible career advancement, ensuring a rewarding and progressive path for every team member. Responsibilities Use pharmacy systems to input patient and drug information accurately, fill prescriptions, and verify medications while assisting pharmacists with workflow Contribute to pharmacy marketing efforts through networking with healthcare professionals and participating in community events. Ensure compliance with federal and state statutes, as well as Florida Board of Pharmacy regulations. Handle non-pharmacist telephone calls, including communications with physicians. Process and resolve manual claims for third-party prescription services efficiently. Support inventory management by ordering, unpacking, storing pharmaceuticals, and addressing overages, shortages, and damages. Provide excellent patient service by addressing inquiries and ensuring patients understand their medication regimens. Qualifications Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician, particularly in a community based or retail pharmacy setting. Excellent communication skills with a focus on patient care and service. Certification as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not mandatory. Commitment to continuous learning and professional development within the field of pharmacy.
